Memorial Day/Veterans Day
Here at SBC, we honor and pray for those who fight for our country and their families. Every year on these days, during our usual Sunday service, Pastor Woody and the congregation stand in silence as his son Luke plays taps on the trumpet. We hold our hands over our hearts and watch the flag blow in the breeze as we think of all those who are away from home providing freedom for Americans, those who have lost their lives for us, and the families that they leave behind. We will always be grateful to those who have served this country...
